After-Hours Support Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented After-Hours Support Specialistto ensure the smooth operation of our caregiving services during evenings and weekends. This role is essential in maintaining continuity of care and providing support to our caregiving team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure all scheduled caregiver shifts are completed and started on time.

  • Clock in/out for caregivers as needed to maintain accurate timekeeping records.

  • Assess situations where caregivers may be late, absent, or encounter challenges during their shifts.

  • Determine if a supervisor needs to be contacted for further action or scheduling adjustments.

  • Maintain clear communication with both caregivers and supervisors regarding any issues that arise.

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and their families, addressing any concerns that arise during after-hours.

  • No requirement or expectation to work shifts open shifts.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a customer service role is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

  • Proficiency with basic computer skills and timekeeping software.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Weekday On-Call: $25.00 flat on-call bonus per day.

  • Weekend On-Call: $40.00 flat on-call bonus per day.

  • Schedule:

    • Mon-Fri 5p-8a

    • Sat-Sun 8a-8a

    • Can work any or all open days

  • Training provided by agency

  • Reports to caregiver supervisor.
